Place your skillet on medium heat. Allow the pan to heat up, should be able to put your hand over the skillet bottom(not touching it) and if you feel heat, should be ready to go. Put your sausage down in the pan, and brown it on either side, then remove from skillet and add your bell pepper, onion, and salt. Let your veggies sizzle in there for a few minutes until the onion becomes translucent and soft, then cut up your sausage in half, then again length wise, and add it back to your skillet with the veggies. Put a lid over your skillet, and let these ingredients get to know each other in the pan for a little bit on low heat. After about 10 minutes, you should be ready to put your sausage on a bun, top it with the green peppers and onions and eat to your heart’s content.
Makes enough for about 3-4 people, depending on how they like to eat!

Eating some phở last weekend during a whirlwind trip home. Two places that must be visited every time are Pho Grand and Imo’s.

- 2 teaspoons Italian seasoning
- 2 teaspoons paprika
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 4 (6-inch) pita breads, cut into halves
Directions
- In a small bowl, combine the Italian seasoning, paprika and garlic powder. Cut each pita half into six pieces; place on an ungreased baking sheet. Spray both sides of wedges with nonstick cooking spray; sprinkle wedges with seasoning mixture. Bake at 350 degrees F for 10-12 minutes or until golden brown, turning halfway through baking time. Cool on wire racks
